Two Afghan Refugees at Fort McCoy Facing Charges

(Terry Bell, WRN) Two Afghan refugees at Fort McCoy face charges in a federal courtroom in Madison today/Thursday.

The U-S Attorney’s office is charging 20-year-old Bahrullah Noori, with sexual assault of a minor. Investigators say he raped someone under 16. 32-year-old Mohammad Haroon Imaad is charged with strangling his wife.

Wisconsin congressman Tom Tiffany had pressed the Biden Administration about child brides and the treatment of Afghan women at the fort.
