(WRN, Raymond Neupert) A county public health agency is hoping one family's loss will encourage more people to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
A Juneau County Public Health Department Facebook post said a 49-year-old man left behind four children and his wife. He had no underlying health conditions but was unvaccinated.
His wife shared a message saying he'd still be around if had gotten the shot. More than 7700 hundred Wisconsin residents have died of COVID-19 complications since the start of the pandemic, including 23 in Juneau County.
