Fall Application Period for Red Letter Grant Now Open

Applications are open for the Red Letter Grant’s Fall Grant period.
If you are a woman who would like to open a new business, you can apply to receive one of four $2,000 start-up grants to launch your small business. Eligible to women throughout ten counties in western Wisconsin including here in Clark County.
They will consider applications from existing women-owned businesses looking to expand, but preference is given to applicants in the start-up phase. They consider the start-up phase to be three years old or younger.
If you have already received a Red Letter Grant, you cannot re-apply for the same business, but you may apply for a new start-up. Eligible counties include Buffalo, Clark, Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, Pepin, Pierce, St. Croix, and Trempealeau.
The grants are available in the spring and fall. The application deadline is Monday, October 4th by 11pm.bThe interview process is November 1st - November 4th. Please note, not all applicants will receive an interview.
You will be notified by October 27th whether you advance to the interview round. The grants will be awarded Thursday, November 11th. All applicants should hold this date on their calendar. Whether or not they are funded, the awards are a great networking opportunity.
