Marshfield Parks Department Performing Trail/Parking Lot Maintenance Starting Tomorrow
Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 -- 8:05 AM
Beginning Wednesday, September 1st, the Marshfield Parks and Recreation Department will be performing trail and parking lot maintenance at several locations throughout the city.
Maintenance is scheduled to conclude on Friday, September 3rd. Depending on weather conditions, the time frame may be extended if needed. Contractors will router, blow out and clean cracks.
They will then proceed to fill the cracks with hot, rubberized joint sealant and over band using the squeegee method. Please note that since cracks are filled with a hot rubber material, it is advised to keep pets away from these locations until after the material cools.
Areas where work will be performed include: Galvin Trail, Hamus Park Parking Lot and Trail, Marshfield - Hewitt Connector Trail, Mill Creek Trail, Prairie Run Trail, and Veterans Parkway Trail, Weber Park Parking Lot and Trail.
Several roads at Hillside Cemetery will be included. Questions can be directed to Ben Steinbach, Parks Superintendent at (715) 486-2049.
