A report from the Department of Veterans Affairs states that doctors and nurses are responsible for the death of a patient at the Tomah VA Medical Center.
According to the report, back in 2019 a veteran went to the VA’s urgent care for a seizure. Even though the veteran admitted to drinking, a blood draw allegedly found no indication of alcohol use. The veteran’s condition worsened and he was taken to another VA before he passed away.
According to the findings of the report, medical staff at the Tomah VA did not give a sufficient amount of medication to help the patient.
