We Energies Awards Grants to Emergency Response Agencies

We Energies Foundations has awarded $50,000 to Wisconsin first responders.
The company announced funding to 27 emergency response agencies through its Rewarding Responders Grant. The grant is awarded annually to help emergency response agencies purchase life saving equipment or important training for their members.
This year’s recipients include:
Athens Area Fire Department for carbon monoxide detector and training;
Montello Fire Department for gas detectors;
Oakdale Area Fire Association for gas detectors;
Oxford Fire Department for gas detectors;
Pittsville Fire Department for a thermal imaging camera;
Stratford Area Fire Department for an automated chest compression device;
and the Tomah Fire Department for the respirator fit testing machine.
The Rewarding Responders Grant helps strengthen public safety in communities served by We Energies.
