Sewer Replacement Projects in Marshfield Begin Monday

Beginning Monday, August 23rd, Gerke Excavating Inc. will begin two sanitary sewer replacement projects on E. 8th Street between Central Avenue and Cedar Avenue and on Cedar Avenue between 8th Street and 6th Street in the City of Marshfield.

Following Gerke Excavating's sanitary sewer work, the City of Marshfield will complete the restoration and street paving. The expected duration of these closures will be approximately 4 to 6 weeks per each street.

Detours will not be posted for these closures. Motorists are advised to find alternative routes and avoid these areas due to anticipated traffic congestion.
