Sonic Boom Rattles Wisconsin Rapids

Wisconsin Rapids received a shock after hearing a sonic boom Thursday morning.

The boom was the result of some air training by the Air National Guard that began August 9th and will continue through today. Many people heard the boom and contacted the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department.

The Department stated there was no need to worry as it was a part of the training.
