UW-Madison Requiring COVID Testing Once a Week for Unvaccinated Students and Staff
Friday, August 20th, 2021 -- 9:23 AM
(Terry Bell, WRN) Unvaccinated students and staff at UW-Madison will have to get tested once a week for COVID-19.
The new policy takes effect at the end of August, as students return to campus. 89-percent of U-W faculty are vaccinated, and about 80-percent of students are expected to get their shots.
U-W leaders say they will require masks for everyone, vaccinated or not, inside all university buildings to start the school year.
