Minnesota Man Appears in Trempealeau County Court for Possession Charges

A Minnesota man arrested after a traffic stop in Osseo appeared in Trempealeau County Court for drug charges.

According to the Osseo Police Department, back in May, a vehicle was stopped for a speed violation early in the morning.  The K9 Unit alerted the presence of drugs in the vehicle.

Officials found drugs and a stolen rifle.  Anothony West from International Falls and Michael Rueckert of Clearwater were both arrested. Rueckert is facing two charges of possession.

During his court appearance, he waived his preliminary hearing and entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him.  He’s scheduled to be back in court on October 14th.
