A La Crosse woman arrested for possession appeared in Trempealeau County Court.
Back in March, during a particularly busy couple of days for the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department’s K9 Unit, deputies initiated a traffic stop in the Town of Gale in Trempealeau County. The K9 unit indicated the presence of drugs, so a search was conducted and Amanda Matheny was arrested.
During her court appearance, she pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine. Two other charges were dismissed and read in. She was sentenced to 30 days probation.
