Aspirus Health Purchases Northwoods Hospitals

(Raymond Neupert) Some Northwoods hospitals have changed owners.

Aspirus Health has completed their purchase of seven hospitals and multiple physicians clinics from Ascension. This includes Howard Young Medical in Woodruff, St. Michaels Hospital in Stevens Point and Good Samaritan Hospital in Merrill.

Officials with Aspirus say that people won't be changing their doctors if they currently get served by Ascension, but the names on the facilities will be changing in the future.
