Next Wolf Hunt Likely to Be Brief

(Terry Bell, WRN) This year’s wolf hunt in Wisconsin will likely be brief.
The Department of Natural Resources has set a limit of 130 wolves killed this year. Hunters and trapped bagged 218 wolves in about three days earlier this year.
That’s a number that wildlife managers and animal rights advocates both found unacceptably high. Wisconsin’s wolf hunt is scheduled to start November 6th.
