Black River Falls Man Appears in Jackson County Court for OWI

A Black River Falls man arrested for OWI with a child in the vehicle appeared in Jackson County Court.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, back in October of last year, they arrested Matthew Stensven after he crossed the center line and hit two other vehicles on County Road F in Adams.  Officers said they could smell intoxicants on Stensven. He had a child in the vehicle with him during the time of the crash.

Stensven is facing a charge of 6th OWI with a child less than 16 in the vehicle and operating with a PAC with a passenger less than 16. During his court appearance, he entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him.
