Minnesota Man Sentenced for High Speed Chase in Jackson County

A Minnesota man arrested for fleeing an officer in a stolen vehicle was sentenced in Jackson County Court.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, back in April, they were made aware of a vehicle pursuit near Hixton involving the Wisconsin State Patrol. Officers tried to stop the vehicle, which reached speeds of 104mph during the chase.

The chase eventually made its way into Clark County before the driver, Kyle Flanagan, lost control and crashed into a ditch. Flanagan was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety. He was sentenced to 9 months in jail.
