Historic Military Convoy Coming To Clark County This Weekend

Clark County will have a very special event will occur July 31st and August 1st.
A Historic Military Convoy will make its way through the north end of Clark County. And then all are welcome for a “Meet and Greet” from 6pm-9pm. About 90 MVPA members and support drivers will participate with over 40 historic trucks as they celebrate the historic Yellowstone Trail. The Convoy is made up of privately owned military vehicles that range in eras from WWII up to the Iraq War. These vehicles include WWII Jeeps and Dodges, Korean War era deuce-and-a-halfs, Dodges, and Jeeps, Vietnam era Jeeps, Dodges and deuces, and an assortment of "Heavies" 5 ton and 10 ton Oshkosh and 4WD cargo haulers from the 1950s until current day.
They will visit the State Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls before proceeding east on County X to Cadott, Boyd, and Stanley, where it will stop for lunch hosted by the Stanley Lions Club at a location south of town about Noon.The convoy will continue eastward through Thorp, Withee, Owen, Curtiss to Abbotsford, where it will encamp for the night. The “Meet and Greet” will take place at the Abbotsford Mall.
