Trial Date Set for Former Marshfield Police Chief

A trial date has been set for Marshfield’s former Police Chief.
According to court records, former Marshfield Police Chief Rick Gramza will have a three day jury trial begin on December 15th. Gramza is accused of sexually assaulting a department employee.
The employee stated the assaults occurred over several years. She feared she’d lose her job if she said anything. Gramza stated the relationship was consensual.
Gramaz is facing charges of fourth-degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct. He’s free on a $10,000 signature bond. The case was investigated by the Eau Claire Police Department.
