Most Wisconsin Businesses Not Continuing Work From Home Option
Tuesday, July 20th, 2021 -- 9:01 AM
(Bob Hague, WRN) A new survey finds few Wisconsin businesses plan to allow employees to continue to work from home.
The Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce Employer Survey revealed that most Wisconsin businesses would require employees to return to the office in the next year, with 74 percent indicating employees had already returned to in-person work.
Companies that moved staff out of traditional offices raised concerns about loss of company culture, decreased collaboration and lack of communication. Moving forward, only five percent of respondents planned to allow employees to work from home permanently.
