Coronavirus Numbers for November 2nd

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 228,863 positive cases (an increase of 3,493 over the previous day) and 2,047 deaths, an increase of 16 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 11,497, or 5%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 1,021 positive cases. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 1,958 positive, Eau Claire has seen 3,960 positive, Jackson has seen 602 positive, Wood has seen 1,933 positive, Marathon has seen 5,441 positive and Taylor has seen 555 positive.
Clark County has had 17 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 61 people die from the virus; Chippewa has had 24 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 21 people die from the virus; Wood has had 10 people die from the virus; Taylor has had 7 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had 2 people die from the virus.
