Coronavirus Numbers for October 28th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 206,311 positive cases (an increase of 5,262 over the previous day) and 1,852 deaths, an increase of 64 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 10,636, or 5%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 867 positive cases. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 1,581 positive, Eau Claire has seen 3,442 positive, Jackson has seen 472 positive, Wood has seen 1,679 positive, Marathon has seen 4,620 positive and Taylor has seen 475 positive.
Clark County has had 15 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 53 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 12 people die from the virus; Chippewa has had 11 people die from the virus, Wood has had 9 people die from the virus, Taylor has had 7 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
