Coronavirus Numbers for October 27th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 201,049 positive cases (an increase of 2,883 over the previous day) and 1,788 deaths, an increase of 10 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 10,416, or 5%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 826 positive cases. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 1,533 positive, Eau Claire has seen 3,320 positive, Jackson has seen 439 positive, Wood has seen 1,634 positive, Marathon has seen 4,495 positive and Taylor has seen 475 positive.
Clark County has had 15 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 52 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 12 people die from the virus; Chippewa has had 11 people die from the virus, Wood has had 9 people die from the virus, Taylor has had 7 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
