Coronavirus Numbers for October 20th: 1,600 Wisconsin Lives Lost

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,703,813 negative cases, 173,891 positive cases (an increase of 3,777 over the previous day) and 1,600 deaths, an increase of 12 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 9,319, or 5%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 673 positive cases and 6,485 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 1,124 positive and 17,459 negative, Eau Claire has seen 2,674 positive and 27,683 negative and Jackson has seen 280 positive and 7,050 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 1,371 positive and 17,649 negative, Marathon has seen 3,376 positive and 28,570 negative and Taylor has seen 361 positive and 3,485 negative. Clark County has had 12 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 33 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 9 people die from the virus; Wood has had 9 people die from the virus, Taylor has had 6 people die from the virus; Chippewa has had 5 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
