Clark County Health Department Offering Flu Clinics, Clinics This Tuesday and Thursday

-The Clark County Health Department is holding free special flu clinics for children.At these special clinics, the flu shot is FREE for ALL CHILDREN 6 months old through age 18, regardless of insurance status. Adults (19+) can also receive the flu shot at these clinics, however the vaccine is not free. The CCHD may be able to bill your insurance carrier or you can pay $30 to cover the cost of the vaccine. Flu shots are also available at the Health Department in Neillsville. To schedule an appointment, please call (715) 743-5113. Annual flu vaccinations are always important, but in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is even more critical to protect yourself and those around you. The clinics are being held this Tuesday, October 20 from 4pm-5:30pm at the Loyal Elementary School.
They’re also holding another this Thursday, October 22nd from 4pm-5:30pm at the Colby Elementary School. Some final clinics are being held Monday, October 26th at the Abbotsford School from 4pm-5:30pm; and Thursday, October 29th from 4pm-5:30pm at the Neillsville High School. For the flu clinics, all participants will have a COVID screening before they take part in the clinic. They must also adhere to social distancing rules and wear a mask. If you are ill, please stay home. Do not attend these clinics.
