CONSOLIDATION STUDY INCHING TOWARD REALITY
Thursday, November 17th, 2005 -- 10:16 AM
It appears a study that will explore the feasibility of the Loyal and Greenwood schools consolidating will happen. After nearly a year of discussions in which both boards agreed to conduct a feasibility study, but then backed away, the Loyal School Board again threw their support behind such a study Wednesday night. The board held a well-attended public meeting on the future of Loyal Schools on Monday night. According to school board President Chuck Rueth, those in attendance voted 86-29 in support of a $20,000 feasibility study. He says school board support for the study is ?firm? . The next step will be to have administrators from both schools sit down to discuss the details.Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
