Coronavirus Numbers for October 14th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,556,954 negative cases, 155,471 positive cases (an increase of 3,279 over the previous day) and 1,508 deaths, an increase of 34 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 8,601, or 5%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 562 positive cases and 6,220 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 859 positive and 16,537 negative, Eau Claire has seen 2,454 positive and 26,333 negative and Jackson has seen 218 positive and 6,853 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 1,152 positive and 16,769 negative, Marathon has seen 2,709 positive and 22,709 negative and Taylor has seen 296 positive and 3,275 negative. Clark County has had 9 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 31 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 9 people die from the virus; Wood has had 8 people die from the virus, Taylor has had 6 people die from the virus; and Chippewa and Jackson have had one person die from the virus.
