Coronavirus Numbers for September 29th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,405,377 negative cases, 117,588 positive cases (an increase of 1,726 over the previous day) and 1,283 deaths, an increase of 2 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 7,142, or 6%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 402 positive cases and 5,543 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 555 positive and 14,749 negative, Eau Claire has seen 1,940 positive and 22,384 negative and Jackson has seen 150 positive and 6,392 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 829 positive and 14,735 negative, Marathon has seen 1,434 positive and 20,778 negative and Taylor has seen 191 positive and 2,839 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 14 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Wood has had 5 people die from the virus, Taylor has had 4 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
