Clark County School Districts Combat Coronavirus
Monday, September 28th, 2020 -- 1:50 PM
-Our local school districts continue to fight the coronavirus and provide an education for students. At this point, almost all of Clark County’s School Districts have reported either students, staff or both testing positive for the coronavirus. Some grades at certain districts have had to quarantine and, in other cases, certain students and staff have had to quarantine after being exposed to someone who tested positive for the virus. Neillsville, Greenwood, Loyal, Owen-Withee, Abbotsford and others have seen positive cases. This is a problem all Wisconsin schools have faced.
Marshfield just had five more students and staff test positive for the virus. They’ve already had to cancel their volleyball and football seasons. Thankfully, for our local districts, with the procedures they’ve put in place, they haven’t needed to completely close the districts. Abbotsford’s High School has gone all virtual after several coronavirus exposures.
