Coronavirus Numbers for September 23rd

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,348,492 negative cases, 104,170 positive cases (an increase of 1,672 over the previous day) and 1,251 deaths, an increase of 7 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 6,765, or 6%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 333 positive cases and 5,245 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 482 positive and 13,929 negative, Eau Claire has seen 1,650 positive and 21,086 negative and Jackson has seen 107 positive and 6,250 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 707 positive and 13,845 negative, Marathon has seen 1,112 positive and 19,900 negative and Taylor has seen 156 positive and 2,681 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 14 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Wood has had 4 people die from the virus, Taylor has had 3 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
