Coronavirus Numbers for September 12th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,254,034 negative cases, 86,250 positive cases (an increase of 1,369 over the previous day) and 1,197 deaths, an increase of 4 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 6,263, or 7%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 280 positive cases and 4,819 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 403 positive and 12,847 negative, Eau Claire has seen 1,098 positive and 19,468 negative and Jackson has seen 87 positive and 5,961 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 555 positive and 12,687 negative, Marathon has seen 854 positive and 18,783 negative and Taylor has seen 128 positive and 2,468 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 14 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Taylor and Wood have had 3 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
