Coronavirus Numbers for September 9th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,230,159 negative cases, 82,477 positive cases (an increase of 717 over the previous day) and 1,168 deaths. Of the positive cases, 6,118, or 7%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 266 positive cases and 4,724 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 385 positive and 12,648 negative, Eau Claire has seen 1,000 positive and 19,162 negative and Jackson has seen 78 positive and 5,920 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 531 positive and 12,425 negative, Marathon has seen 835 positive and 18,282 negative and Taylor has seen 123 positive and 2,412 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 14 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Taylor and Wood have had 3 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
