Coronavirus Numbers for September 4th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,199,999 negative cases, 77,856 positive cases (an increase of 727 over the previous day) and 1,146 deaths, an increase of 4 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 5,946, or 7%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 263 positive cases and 4,549 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 364 positive and 12,288 negative, Eau Claire has seen 860 positive and 18,448 negative and Jackson has seen 77 positive and 5,901 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 489 positive and 12,022 negative, Marathon has seen 791 positive and 17,898 negative and Taylor has seen 116 positive and 2,341 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 14 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Taylor and Wood have had 3 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
