Coronavirus Numbers for December 3rd

-For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 2,215 positive cases.  Of those, 338 are currently active and 160 needed to be hospitalized.  Clark County has had 42 people die from the virus.  Wood has seen a total of 4,371 positive cases.  Wood has had 29 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 395,090 positive cases (an increase of 3,777 over the previous day) and 3,502 deaths, an increase of 82 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 17,569, or 4%, have been hospitalized.  For our other neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 4,921 positive, Eau Claire has seen 7,909 positive, Jackson has seen 1,755 positive, Marathon has seen 9,926 positive and Taylor has seen 1,222 positive.

Marathon has had 126 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 59 people die from the virus; Chippewa has had 53 people die from the virus; Taylor has had 10 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had 5 people die from the virus.
