Coronavirus Numbers for August 9th: Wisconsin Has Another Record Day of New Cases

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has 986,945 negative cases, 59,933 positive cases (an increase of 1,165 over yesterday) and 996 deaths, an increase of 6 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 4,980, or 8%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 187 positive cases and 3,726 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 227 positive and 10,350 negative.
Also, Eau Claire has 574 positive and 14,732 negative, Jackson has 58 positive and 5,364 negative, Wood has 286 positive and 9,497 negative, Marathon has 629 positive and 13,456 negative and Taylor has 69 positive and 1,890 negative.
