Local Resident Raising Funds for Neillsville Trout Pond

-A local resident is trying to raise money for Neillsville’s Trout Pond.Trisha Gahagan Mayer created a fundraiser for her birthday via Facebook to collect funds for the pond. According to her fundraiser post, she stated “I want to raise money to bring life and awareness to the Trout Pond in Neillsville. It is such a great thing to get kids outside! The pond is limited to kids 12 and under, and there is a daily catch limit. It is not funded by the city at all. It needs to be stocked and get a nice sign showing what it is. The student council is in touch with the school's woodworking department to make that, but we have to pay for the materials.
I would like to raise enough to pay for the sign and a couple year's worth of fish. We also plan to have the pond added to the directional signs in town, i.e. hospital, library, etc etc.” As of yesterday, there were 12 days left on the fundraiser and she has raised $605 of the $1,000 she’s hoping to raise.
