(WDLB) -A special Marshfield task force at City Hall could at least discuss the possibility of a mask mandate.During an update on the city's COVID-19 response, Administrator Steve Barg told the Common Council last night he's commissioned a group of people that will start meeting this Friday to make recommendations regarding possible future steps to keep the city safe. Alderman Ken Bargender read a letter from the Pittsley family at 500 West Sixth, expressing their stance against any city-wide mask mandate.
Barg said city department and division heads meet every Wednesday morning, and their first order of business each week is COVID-related. Barg also noted the city is looking into possible federal reimbursement for COVID-related costs. The city reopened its facilities and services on June 1.
