Employment Matters at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the resignation of Elizabeth Heath from her elementary teaching position and Jim Sjolin from his head golf coaching position. The board also approved the hiring of Elizabeth Ruzic for a teaching assistant position, Krista Rueth for an elementary teaching position and Bryce DeSmet for a middle school football coaching position. The board also approved the Memorandum of Understanding for Megan Strobach as presented. Finally, the board approved the initial adoption of Policy IGDJA.
The board then heard the Administrators’ Report. Administrator John Gaier reported on two thank you cards, CESA 10 Board of Control Annual Convention, a district social media review, an article on state economies with the most racial equality, an email from School Administrators Alliance regarding lagging state revenues and a Supreme Court ruling about public funding for private schools.
