Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Resolution Giving Departments Flexibility With Employees During a Public Health Risk

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors heard several reports at their meeting on Thursday.The board heard the 2019 Highway Annual Report, the 2019 Forestry and Parks Annual Report and the 2019 Sheriff’s Department Report. The board also had a few presentations. They saw a presentation for a Lifesaving Award, recognition for the former IT Director and an update on the COVID-19 situation in Clark County from the Health Department. The board also approved an appointment to the county Planning and Zoning Committee Board of Adjustment. The board also approved a resolution giving county departments flexibility for their employees during times of a public health risk.
The board then approved a resolution dealing with the nomination, election and appointment of board members that was established when the board was not meeting in person due to the coronavirus. The board then approved a resolution that puts the county more in line with the state when it comes to dealing with a pandemic. Finally, the board approved some ordinance regarding health and safety and rules and regulations.
