Man Sentenced for Attempted Robbery in Black River Falls

-One of two people charged with attempted robbery of the Holiday gas station in Black River Falls appeared in Jackson County Court on Monday.According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, back in November of 2019, two people entered the gas station and demanded the keys to the register. They were able to open the register and a cash drop box. They then fled on foot. A couple days later, the department received an anonymous tip stating that Treyton Laufenberg and Jessie Blakenship committed the robbery.
During Laufenberg’s court appearance, his preliminary hearing was waived and he entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him.
