Neillsville City Council Public Works Report and Other Meeting Notes
Saturday, June 27th, 2020 -- 8:55 AM
The Neillsville City Council heard the Public Works Report at their meeting on Tuesday. The usual amount of work was done in the city including cemetery and parks maintenance, equipment maintenance, a burial, watering flowers, mowing, trimming and pruning trees, maintaining street lighting, filling pot holes, hauling brush and compost, street sweeping, street construction, curb and gutter replacement and more.
A resident was also in attendance and was asking about the contact us button on the city’s website. He stated he used the button, but had received no response. He also had a question on dog licensing. The city ordinance states a dog to be licensed at five months of age. But his dog was born in November and he had to pay the unneutered license rate even though this veterinarian, Badger Animal Care, won’t spade a dog until it is six months old. He asked the council to review its ordinance.
