Loyal School Board Hears Administrators' Reports

-The Loyal School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting last week.Interim Superintendent Mark Lacke stated the board was given some Fast Facts (financials, Open enroll, student count, area district comparisons, etc.) about Loyal. They also reviewed some COVID recommendations from DPI, Clark Co. Health and WIAA about graduations, summer school and the September re-opening. Elementary Principal Nancy Popp is getting summer school plans together for July 27-August 14. She is looking at procedures needed to reduce Covid harm, courses desired by students and Reading/Math activities infused into other traditional classes.
High School Principal Chris Lindner spoke about 4th Qtr grading, materials returned to school by parents/students, laptops repair, food service bag meals, FFA alumni dairy product give-a-ways, drivers ed online, summer rec, city help straightened the ball field light poles and graduation outdoors set for July 31st.
