COVID-19 Pandemic Update for the Afternoon of June 15th: Another Small Increase in Cases, Another Case in Clark County

We have a COVID-19 update for you this afternoon.
Taking a look at the updated state numbers, the state has 403,447 negative tests, 22,932 positive cases (an increase of 174 over yesterday) and 694 deaths, an increase of 2 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 3,061, or 13%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 51 positive cases and 1,655 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 62 positive and 3,682 negative, Eau Claire has 137 positive and 6,480 negative, Jackson has 21 positive and 1,791 negative, Wood has 23 positive and 3,198 negative, Marathon has 82 positive and 4,705 negative and Taylor has 5 positive cases and 760 negative. Clark County has had 4 people die from the coronavirus. Marathon, Jackson and Wood Counties have had one person die due to the coronavirus.
