Granton Village Board Hears Update on Dump Truck and More

-The Granton Village Board heard an update on their dump truck at their meeting on Wednesday.According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, it was stated that Gross Motors is hopeful the truck will be ready this fall. The board also reviewed the 2020 Review Compliance Maintenance Report and approved to update the Compliance Maintenance agreement for 2020. The board also approved the liquor and operator licenses. The board also reviewed and approved what the village charges for equipment use. The current charge for backhoe usage is $85 per hour, but it was noted the village had been charging $70 per hour. This will be corrected going forward.
The minimum charge for backhoe delivery is 20 dollars for 15 minutes Mowing charges are $70 per hour and there is no charge for labor. The current per yard charges are no charge for compost and dirt, $12.95 per yard for gravel and $10.45 per yard for sand. The board approved keeping the hourly rate of $85 per hour for the backhoe, $70 per hour for mowing and the minimum charge is to be increased to $20.
