-The Clark County Health Department wants residents to be aware of some false information this is being spread via Facebook, and other methods, regarding an item on the Clark County Board of Supervisors agenda for their meeting this morning.The false information being spread claims that the board is voting on a resolution that will give the Health Department the power to issue county-wide lockdowns, quarantines, anklet bracelet monitoring curfews and more. To clarify, there is NO county-wide lockdown, quarantine, ankle bracelet monitoring, or curfew being proposed. Please refer to official sources and contact the CCHD directly with any questions or concerns. The agenda for today’s meeting, along with the accompanying meeting documents are posted on the Clark County website.
The resolution being voted on can be found on the county’s website, the Health Department’s Facebook page and we’ve shared it on our Facebook pages as well.
