Marshfield Police Department Holding Community Cookout, Silent Rally and Peaceful March Today at Wenzel Family Plaza

(WDLB) -The Marshfield Police Department will use a community cookout, silent rally, and peaceful march to bring attention to racial injustice.The event takes place today between 5-and-7 p.m. at Wenzel Family Plaza. The Department says it wants to take some time to meet with the community for questions, concerns and a show of unity during the current climate.
Food has been donated by Hewitt’s Meat and Festival Foods, and will be served free to those in attendance. Those who attend are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, and social distancing and masks are also encouraged.
