While the office is advising Wisconsin residents to watch out for ripoffs from fake charities, ostensibly helping hurricane Katrina victims. Loyd says it didn't take too long for these crooks to get in business.
Since the Gulf of Mexico cleanup is going to take months, the scam will be with us, too -- Loyd says right up until the Christmas-time ripoff artists start their work.
