Organizational Matters at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board took care of organizational matters at their meeting on Monday.The Board elected its officers for 2020-21 including Jerome Krempasky as President, Dean Lindner as Vice-President, Mark Shain as Treasurer, Sarah Shaw as Clerk and Dawn Jacobson as Trustee. The board also approved Forward Bank as the official depository, the District Newsletter as official newspaper and TRG as secondary publication, they set the regular board meeting for the 2nd Monday of the Month at 7:00 pm in the High School CWETN room and they approved Weld Riley as District Legal Advisor. The board also approved Dawn Jacobson as the WASB Delegate and Jerome Krempasky WASB Delegate Alternate, Sarah Shaw as District CWETN representative, Mark Shain as District CESA 10 representative and Dean Lindner as the District ESSA representative.
The board also approved maintaining 2019-20 Committee assignments for 2020-21. The board also accepted the $400 Career Prep Mini grant from CVTC to Noah Werner, the resignation of Matthew Hessel as a 3rd grade teacher and Renee Fait as the Spanish Teacher. Finally, during the communication from the public portion of the meeting, a community member expressed concern for how our students are doing during the closure.
