Look for the Helpers: Owen-Withee School District

-“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”Those are the inspiring words to Mr. Rogers from his mother, so we’re going to try and find the helpers. Today, we look at the Owen-Withee School District. To name just a few of the many things they’re doing, Owen-Withee, like many districts, is providing meals for their students during the closure. They’ve also been posting update videos to Facebook for their students and they’re working on rescheduling fun activities like prom for their students. They have also been providing work for students to do during the closure.
This may be a stressful situation for everyone, but we will get through this. Let's all work together and help each other along as we take the current situation day-by-day. And, if possible, make sure you continue to support our local businesses. They’re going to need our support now more than ever.
