Look for the Helpers: Medford FFA
Wednesday, April 22nd, 2020 -- 9:48 AM
-“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”Those are the inspiring words to Mr. Rogers from his mother, so we’re going to try and find the helpers. Today, we look at the Medford FFA. Like other FFA Chapters around the state, the Medford FFA answered the call to help dairy farmers during the coronavirus pandemic. The Medford FFA delivered a gallon of milk, a pound of cheese and other dairy products to students who are receiving meals from the school. They also included a dairy project and other dairy themed educational material.
This may be a stressful situation for everyone, but we will get through this. Let's all work together and help each other along as we take the current situation day-by-day. And, if possible, make sure you continue to support our local businesses. They’re going to need our support now more than ever. If you know of someone who’s going above and beyond to help the community during this difficult time and would like them to be acknowledged for their work, please send me an email with details to [email protected].
