Committee Reports at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Historic Preservation Commission Report at their meeting last week.The commission approved to use the new 2020 Application for Certificate of Appropriations form, they approved to use the new 2020 Application for Demolishing a Historic Structure form and they had a discussion on a listing of historic properties. The commission also had a discussion on an annual report of the Historic Preservation Commission’s yearly activities, they had a discussion on annual reporting to the Wisconsin Historical Society and they approved having the monthly commission meeting on the third Wednesday each month. They also approved a Certificate of Appropriateness for window replacement in the front of the building at 541 Hewett Street.
Finally, they approved a Certificate of Appropriateness for an exterior sign replacement in front of the 1897 Clark County Jail Museum and they had a discussion on a Tour of Homes. The council also heard the report from the Neillsville Community Fire Hall Board. They approved the payment of bills and had a discussion on the service door replacement, a roof leak and the building heaving causing a wall crack. Finally, they reviewed and accepted the 2019 Financial Statements.
