Look for the Helpers: Clark County Schools

-“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.'”Those are the inspiring words to Mr. Rogers from his mother. In this cycle of what seems to be doom and gloom news, we’re going to try and find the helpers. Today, we look at our county school districts. During this difficult time and even with the governor ordering schools to be closed during this outbreak, they are still here supporting our students. They’ve had to meet very unusual circumstances but have gone above and beyond to keep moving forward. Not only are the districts providing meals for the students, but some are even delivering them to students who are unable to pick them up. The districts have also provided materials and resources for kids to keep themselves from getting rusty during this time. The districts have also stressed that even though their doors are closed, they’re still here for students. They encourage students and parents to call or email if they have any questions.
Thank you to our Clark County School Districts including Neillsville, Granton, Loyal, Greenwood, Owen-Withee, Thorp, Abbotsford and Colby for all your hard work and dedication to your students. This maybe a stressful situation for everyone, but we will get through this. Lets all work together and help each other along as we take the current situation day-by-day. And, if possible, make sure you continue to support our local businesses. They’re going to need our support now more than ever.
